Option to hide menu bar icon or lock all settings

I've just started using Network Share Mounter in an education environment (ages 11- 16) NSM has really made such a positive impact for reliably mapping our shares, thank you for creating this

I wondered if I could submit a feature request: if you think other users would find it useful as well, could an option for hiding the preference menu or hiding the NSM menu icon from the end user be considered please? I have mac users who like to waste time by trying to fiddle/tamper with settings
