Develop a definition for "permanent" and "enduring" in research data availability context
Infrastructure offers (like DOI assignment) always relate to the fact, that the data needs to be accessable for a longer time-span. In general this goes far beyond projects' life time, but are "10 years" really the target we should use as lower limit?
Additionally there should be a definition for a minimal requirement for availability of the storage. Is a file server in a chair sufficient? Or needs the data to be stored in at least two data centers that guarantee 99% availability for 10+ years?
